The Santa Story

The Santa Story

Outsiders have spent over half of a century crying about the time Philly fans pelted Santa Claus with snowballs. They use it as their proof that we’re a rough crowd, crying tears over a guy who literally doesn’t exist.

But real Philadelphians have the street smarts to see right through the nonsense. We weren’t booing the magic of Christmas- we were giving a standard Philly reality check to a pathetic corporate cover-up of a miserable Eagles season.

The national media loves to lecture us; completely blind to the joke. They take a piece of hilarious local folk lore and turn it into actual malice because they lack the wit to get it.

Let the clueless outsiders whine about a fairy tale character. We know exactly who we are.
